Contacting your members of Congress

Arguably the most important part of National History Day's lobbying efforts, messages and calls from constituents like you are what gain the attention of your members of Congress. We are very thankful for the time you take to express your support of one of the finest and longest-running academic programs in the country.

To do so, please go to the congressional directory at Congress.org and find your two senators and your House representative. Once you have their names, enter them at the top of this form:

NHD Constituent Letter

Be sure to also enter your email address in the second field at the top of the form. Once you have done that, and reviewed the letter, click the submit button at the bottom of the letter. There, you will have a few options for sending the letter to NHD, there from which the letter will be sent to the appropriate contacts for each member of Congress.

If you have any concerns or questions, do not hesitate to contact us at noah@nhd.org.

We thank you again for your support - we could not do this without you!
